PRESS STATEMENT ON REMOTE GAMBLING
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has considered Singapore Turf Club’s application and decided that an Exemption Certificate will be issued to Singapore Turf Club (STC).
With the exemption, STC will be able to continue to offer telebetting services. In addition, STC will be introducing iTote, a new online wagering platform on 15 November 2016.
With immediate effect until the launch of iTote, STC will not be processing new applications for opening of accounts.
STC will also be contacting existing account holders on the changes to the Club’s services required under the Exemption Certificate.
